Call of Duty 2

Even though Will got his 360 for Christmas, I just played it for the first time tonight with Colin. Call of Duty 2’s pretty sweet actually. The controller feels good in general, and surprisingly, it wasn’t too difficult to play a FPS. In fact, I beat him 5-1.

Dreamcast

I had a Dreamcast since its launch. I loved my Dreamcast. It loved me. It may have been a disappointment to Sega, but it wasn’t to me. But then it broke. Years later, my dad bought my brother one from a thrift store. It didn’t have any AV cables, and we didn’t know where our old ones were. No Dreamcast. We assumed it was broken anyways so we didn’t really try to get cables. Well, my brother just bought cables for it, and it works. Because he doesn’t have any games for it, he said he’d give it to me. I’m not sure if he knows that I took all the games with me, but that’s just fine with me. Now I have a Dreamcast again!

Noise

Monday night Will had a bunch of people over to play 360. I was wide awake in bed for hours and so was gemma. They were so fucking loud, lol. And it was only FIFA. Anyways, we ended up getting a noise complaint. =/

Spinach

Apparently it’s not okay for me to use that olive oil that was supposed to be shared, but it’s fine for him to open and use my entire package of spinach presumably for the lasagna Bill made.
Odd standards.

Weekend

Another weekend gone, hm?
I washed cars with gem, Jon, Gabby, Vince, and Ratana on Friday. Then gem made truffles at my place before going to a sorority thing. I went to Vince’s to play video games with Vince, Ratana, Jon, and Gabby. Jimmy came home and he played too. It was pretty fun. After gem got back, Gabby, Jon, and I went to Albertson’s to buy food and back to my place to cook.
It was crazy. Will had a party, and there were 20+ people when I counted at one point. For a good portion of the party, neither Will nor Patrick were here. We cooked, but it was still crazy. This one girl asked me what I was looking for once, and her and her friend thought it was hysterical that I was looking for the sugar. I don’t really get it. And they took one of my cokes so I took the box away from them and moved it to my room. Jon had just bought the 12-pack for dinner that night. When Will wasn’t here, some people were jumping on his bed, screaming, and singing songs from The Lion King. Then the most flaming guy I’ve ever met walked in. But he actually wobbled in. And he couldn’t seem to figure out how to walk around.
Jon needed to use some olive oil and didn’t know if we shared it or not so he asked Will. Now even though we were, supposedly, sharing sauces and condiments, Will ranted about how we aren’t sharing food anymore and that gem and I keep using all of his olive oil. Again, we were sharing that kind of stuff. And we haven’t actually used any since we stopped sharing. But… maybe I can’t blame someone who doesn’t have control of his own brain anymore. So after we got done cooking, which was difficult to do since there were idiot girls in my kitchen and people heating charcoal for the hookah on the stove, we got ready to go. I didn’t want to leave with people being able to access my room so I dragged my heavy TV stand in front of my door and then went out the emergency exit. We were gonna go to Vince’s to eat, but there ended up being a bunch of high people there too.
We went to Jon’s instead, only to find that he didn’t have any plates. He hadn’t told us that earlier. Gabby and I went back to my place, took a bunch of plates, forks, and knives, and left. Of course, with a whole house full of people, no one noticed. Then Gabby backed out into another car. She hit someone named Rana I guess. And then we ate, and it was good. And gem’s truffles were amazing. There was Kahlua in some and Irish Cream in others. Very tasty. Then Andy and Vince left, and soon after gem and I left.
On Saturday, gem and I ate and then picked up my dishes. We put them back at home, I cleaned, she made more truffles, and then we watched Battle Royale. That’s an awesome movie. It’s a Japanese flick about a bunch of 9th graders who have to kill eachother. Awesome. And then we met Jon and Gabby at my mom’s.
And apparently, some girls came over to my place Saturday night and complained that I made fun of them for eating toast. Which I didn’t. But they were at Will’s party so they probably weren’t very smart to begin with.
Mom’s house was fun. Tony was there, and it was cool seeing him again. We played GunBound most of the night (with Carrie and Jackie Lemus too). Mom told me we were too loud and that she didn’t want them spending the night anymore. We went out to eat, Tony went to bed, gemma and I went to bed shortly after, and Jon and Gabby left… at some point, I guess.
In the morning, gem went to a sorority thing. I went driving with Pete, got a hair cut, gave my mom my ATM card (it’s in her name and there’s a problem with it now), ate In-n-Out, and drove home.
And now I’m tired, but I really didn’t do much today. I do want to buy a new doorknob and lock for my room though. I don’t want any fuckers I don’t know coming in.

T|X

My month old Palm T|X’s wifi went out a couple weeks ago. It suddenly resetted, and when it booted back up, the device just didn’t have wifi. No programs could find it, no wifi preferences… even the indicator at the bottom was gone. The system bar had a bunch of squares and then just a blank. I fooled around for a while trying to restore it, but from what I read online, it seems that just happens sometimes, and there’s no way to fix it. Happens to other non-T|Xs as well. I exchanged it last night and everything’s fine…
…for now anyways.

Life

School’s been going alright so far. Last Wednesday was our 15th monthiversary. We had class from 7-9 =/. But I bought a Winnie-the-Pooh puzzle to do together, and I tried to make her dinner. She ended up helping of course. Fettucini and baked chicken with mushrooms and marinara sauce. It was tasty. And the night was full all around. We didn’t end up finishing the puzzle until a couple of days ago 🙂
Friday gem and I went to Jon’s to play GunBound with him, Gabby, and his roommate Tony. It was fun, and we ended up getting tired and crashing there.
Saturday gem, Jon, Gabby, and I went to my mom’s house. She made pot roast, and we were planning on watching a movie, but we ended up just all playing GunBound, along with James too. He’s really good, usually using Aduka. Jon taught me to use Boomer, and I’ve surprised myself with how well I can use him. I stayed the night, but the other three went home.
On Sunday I hung out doing nothing for a bit and played GunBound with James some. Later I went driving with Pete and ended up driving back home. That night I hung out with gemma, but I can’t remember what we did.
And then school started, and I’m tired.
Last week I saw Antonio too, which was cool. I think we should hang out more often. It’s too bad he’s so far away. He wants to do another movie night soon. Sounds fun.

Jedi Mind Tricks

This morning in CSE 25, I kept waving my hand in front of me saying “you will let us out a half hour early.” It didn’t seem to be working so I gave up. And two minutes later the lecturer said he was losing his voice and dismissed us early!
Ha, I’m a jedi.

Herbert and William

Herbert and William came to visit Sunday night. They were supposed to come much earlier, but Herbert’s incompetent. And he’s still amazingly… er, nevermind, he’s completely sane. *wink*. But it was pretty fun. We stayed up until 6 Monday morning, which then gave me four hours of sleep. And last night, I got only 6, which would be fine except that I’m totally not used to having a class at 8.
Tony and gemma like Herbert and William. But no one else does. Funny that no one would come to see them. Even Jennifer Damm, who used to always want to see him. But, good times!
