First, I’d like to mention my newest computer problems. Chopsticks’s internal keyboard sort of went crazy today. Sometimes when I’m not touching it, it inserts tons of characters. When I do type, some keys insert a different character / some different characters than it should. Caps lock was turning on and off. Um, just strange weirdness. And it was doing this before Windows loaded, too. I’m using an external keyboard currently. The internal appears to be working again, but I’m skeptical.
I was reading bwaht‘s intro entry today, and it made me think about WebPageless. Funny how long I’ve had the same site. Back in elementary school, my website was simply called “My Site,” or something along those lines. I believe it just had contact information on it. In middle school it became TheUser’s Place and later Game Dimension, I think. This is where it gained a little content. The first real section was a Final Fantasy VII guide. For a very short period of time, it was known as SBCWA. At least, I think it was. I’m less sure of this than the others. It was an acronym having to do with the Internet. It can be translated to “Web Site Made by a Kid Who Wants to Be a Hacker.” Granted, I changed its name quickly. I think it went back to TheUser’s Place. It was during my freshman year at CAMS that it became WebPageless, not just in name, but also in feeling and content (not that it lacked a web page). It had one true section, Monthly Stuff, and a few small other sections, such as Contact Information. I was using frames to have two side navbars and a center main frame. I registered WebPageless.com with namezero, but that went away. Version two (not versiontwo.org…) of WebPageless had frames removed and was difficult to navigate. The use of SSI and tables to create the current look marked version three. This was also when I introduced the Fuzzy Journal, I believe. It started as a joke. I thought Live Journals were incredibly stupid and wanted to make my own mock lj. Needless to say, I ended up liking the idea, although now I wish I had content other than a journal. Version four of WebPageless is very new. I considered WebPageless to be in version four when Movable Type was used. Monthly Stuff was sort of ripped into pieces with things now in their own categories. It’s funny that Fuzzy Journal was a joke and now is the main part of the site. Funny and sad, I should say. There are, of course, other sections, such as reviews, comments on events, the art sections, quotes, article links, and information about me and my accomplishments. WebPageless seems more and more pointless as I write this entry, but I don’t mean to sound depressed or anything. I love WebPageless, my bloated journal. Hanah called it a “hub” of CAMS sites or something along those lines. She said that its best feature / one of its best features is its links to all the other CAMS sites. I suppose the Quotes section is part of that, too. WebPageless will probably take a severe hit after CAMS is no longer in my life. Well, we’ll see.
Thanks Antonio for giving me stuff to talk about early on, lol, and for understanding HTML so I could talk to you about it. Thanks Alex. ElbowHead, may it rest in peace, pushed me to work on WebPageless. Thanks Ryo. I learned of extremetracking.com from you. The whole Version Two – Purple Savant and Concrete Abstractions – Sentilog inspired the Fuzzy Journal spin off from Monthly Stuff. Karp, off defending our country, thanks for helping me with the layout and with SSI. Linh-Nam… thanks for the Movable Type help. For those of you who don’t know, he had (and still has) my main account password. I eventually just asked him to log in and help me get it working. Thanks to anyone else who has helped me.
And thanks to all the people that have such crappy lives that they find the time to read WebPageless.
I’ll go tell Jaysen I’m done updating now. =D

Starbucks / College / Suspensions
We went to a different Starbucks today. They wanted to avoid the one we normally goto in case Baker was going to check for us there. Still, all he has to do is check Newman’s class to find that we’re not going. Whatever. When we were about to go, Jon realized that Herbert had the directions to the Starbucks. So after running back to get them, we were on our way. I rode with Jaysen, who followed Russell and Jon. It was kind of funny… Jon and I would stick out to yell back and forth. Jon yelled back that the directions were actually to the normal one, lol, so we had to find our way to another. Luckily for us, it’s quite easy to find a Starbucks. We worked on a crossword puzzle while discussing the end of the world, the Anti-Christ, and free will. It’s a good bunch to hang out with. I enjoy discussing things like that with them. And Jaysen’s sort of random and lame, lol. It was either Joseph or Kamal who noticed that there seems to be a Game Stop next to every Starbucks. Hm…
Oh, and the calculus test was delayed until Monday because we’re all stupid. I’m very glad because I need the extra time.
I talked to Gonzales for a while about UOP/UCI. I definitely think UOP could get me into the industry faster, but I think UCI is more “for me.” I don’t know though.
Also, it seems my permanent record makes no note of the suspensions. Perhaps there’s a second record somewhere or something, but the main record said nothing of it. That’s good.
Offline Updating
Okay, I figured out how to update Movable Type while offline. If I open mt.cfg and change “webpageless.cjb.net” to “127.0.0.1”, I can then update. ^_^
College
Now I’m confused too like so many other idiot students out there. UOP or UCI? I know that UOP has been my “number one” for a long time, but why? UOP came and talked to my Mechatronics class, and I liked what they had to say. And… um… well I guess my uncle’s brother and sister went there. I don’t even know them, so that’s definitely not the reason, heh. Both schools are going to give me a good education. UOP might give me a slight boost into the field because of the co-op. The UOP name seems a bit better or more “elite” than UCI even though it really isn’t. UCI is in the LA area. This allows me to stay where I know, to stay at the center of so much activity, to stay near my friends. And, uh, my family too y’know. I know friends come and go, but it’s still a plus. Some people say UOP has a nice campus. While it might be “nice,” does it fit me? UCI has a nice campus. I know that. And it does fit me. It seems very comfortable, and I surely see myself happy there. So what’s so special about UOP? What makes it worth going to over UCI? The price to me is the same at both too. So, I’m thinkin’ UCI now. Well, I’m leaning that way anyways. Far that way, heh. Man, this has been really heavily on my mind lately. I started thinking about it a little a few days ago and today I thought about it all day. I was so sure for a while, and then everything just fell apart. Well, it fell apart rationally at least, I think. I know that sometimes people just get scared when the deadline approaches, but this isn’t just that. “This isn’t just that” is a great phrase, isn’t it? I saw Profesora Vogel today walking with Jaysen, and I talked with her for a little while. She recommended I accept both offers of admission and choose later, sacrificing one of the deposits. I hadn’t thought of doing that. I guess I could do that if my mind still isn’t made up come May 1, but I’m thinking UCI. Christine won’t stab me, will she? slkdfjwe my face hurts
MT
Okay so monthly archiving is set up now… and I’m happy. And I understand the MT tags a bit more.
Ace Of Base – [The Sign #12] All That She Wants (Banghra Version)
I think Lewis talks openly too much about things that should remain private. She told a student today that this student needed to come in for study sessions, emphasized that the student was required to do so, and added that the student was failing the class. She needs to take behavior lessons from Maruna.
Maruna asked Claudia where her Sound and Sense book was. Claudia said that she left it in her backpack. Maruna informed her that it was under her desk. I was amused. I also like how Claudia sits in the middle of the classroom, and Maruna noticed within a few seconds. Wilbert sits in the very front and answered questions but went unnoticed for 20 minutes.
Also, Maruna told the class today that when reading sentence-by-sentence, stop reading at the semi-colon. She said that a semi-colon marks the end of a sentence. I was glad.
Fisher said that at a school he used to work at, he found a VHS tape while cleaning out lockers. He recorded political shows over it and gave it to a substitute teacher along with a lesson plan. As it turned out, there was porn on the tape at the end of what he taped. Amazingly, Fisher didn’t lose his job. Yay.
Starbucks
Both Calc II and Calc I went by incredibly quickly. I just talked during both periods. I went to lunch with Jaysen and ate with him, Chris, Carrie, and Shirin. Then Jaysen and I went to Starbucks where we met up with Jon, Kamal, Russell, and Joseph. We talked and worked on a crossword.
There was an article in the paper that Joseph pointed out about a man building a 4 story Spanish-missionary style house on a 20 feet by 20 feet lot. That just seemed interesting to me.
On the way, Jon saw his dad stopped at a light nearby. He couldn’t get his attention though. He did realize that his dad was suppose to be out of town, but he was suppose to be in school, right?
Then there was Physics Lab. Tough class. I was tired, and confused as usual. Dr. Wiley’s always very helpful though, which is cool.
IDP
IDP fucking sucks. I want to stab people in the face over and over and over and over. Wth? The other subgroups get months to do their parts, but we don’t get to start until 11 PM. I know I’m good at bullshitting, but this was much worse than normal BS, and it’s their fucking fault. “What does this question mean? Uh…well… I’ll just put ‘no competition’. Yeah, hopefully that explains why I couldn’t make this chart.” Fuckers better be content with that, too. I’m goin’ to bed.
