Herbert picked me and Joseph up, and we went to the Rolling Hills AMC. After buying our tickets, we sat by the coffee shop for a minutes. We enjoyed the movie. Afterwards, Herbert, being his usual irrational self, decided we needed to visit Hanah. Then, he freaked out because the back right window would no longer go up. Joseph was sitting there, but it wasn’t his fault at all. Herbert wasn’t so sure of this. He also must think Joe is very incompetent. Hanah wasn’t home. Herbert later found out that she was at a religious service. We then went to Taco Bell after lots of weird shit due to Herbert’s mom.

Herbert and Hanah really have communication problems. I know that Herbert finds out about a lot of stuff about Hanah indirectly when he should be finding out from her. But he doesn’t seem to be contacting her enough himself. They need to work on this rather quickly.
Christine’s, Bowling, Junk
Yesterday, Chris picked me up, and we went to Christine’s house. Grant was already there. We hung out for a while. It was fun seeing Grant again, and I’m glad I got to see Christine one last time before she left. Saying good bye was difficult. Despite me being me, she gave me a hug.
We were 40 minutes late to go bowling, but Jaysen was the only one there. Joseph showed up soon after. Herbert didn’t go bowling because he slept through it. The scores were as follows:
| Name | Entered Name | Score 1 | Score 2 | Score 3 |
| Joseph | CDR | 66 | 62 | 116 |
| Peter | MAJ | 63 | 86 | 40 |
| Jaysen | S SRG | 62 | 54 | 94 |
| Chris | SRG | 28 | 91 | 59 |
Terrible game for me.
Then, we went out to eat. I had two tacos like usual. Very tasty. Herbert joined us. Afterwards, we went to CAMS, Baskin Robbins, and to a liquor store. We needed to find somewhere to hang out so we went to Joseph’s house and hung out in the parking lot until we were done. Herbert and Jaysen went home, and Chris and I joined Joseph in his room. I had a lot of fun. I need to go to Joseph’s more often. Not that I’m inviting myself or anything… he needs to invite me. Hint. Hint. At a little past midnight, Chris took me home.
Astro Bunny International
I found a site called Astro Bunny International that contains, for the most part, art created by two people.
I swear they’re fucking retards or something.
Some of it’s a little amusing. Look at it to make fun of it at least.
And look at the picture of Kirby here.
Christine’s and Alex’s
I went to Christine’s house yesterday. Fun stuff. Linh-Nam and Cheryl were also there. Christine got sick as usual. I played Doom 3. I burned it for Christine, and Linh-Nam installed it for her. I had to talk to Denise Earley, my counselor, about classes, but I got it all taken care of. I do not like Christine moving away. That’s probably the last time I’ll see her for a while 🙁
Cheryl drove me home in her new Matrix. It’s nice ^^ She could tell which house was mine by the roof. My dad drove me to Alex’s house, where Linh-Nam was already. It was fun. We watched Kill Bill, played Doom 3, ate food. Linh-Nam and I played Unreal Tournament 2004. I beat him both rounds ^_^. Nam left around 12:30. Later, Alex and I watched Donnie Darko and the deleted scenes. He hadn’t seen it before. I hadn’t seen it enough o_O.
And I still can’t find Garden State to download. Makes Peter sad.
blah
Registered for some classes today. CSE21 wasn’t a hard decision. It sounds like stuff I’ve covered but not in an AP or college class. Still, I’ve hardly covered it. I signed up for Mathematics 2D, multivariable calculus. This was slightly harder to figure out, because I had to check what math classes the calculus at CAMS covered. As for physics… well, according to the sample program of study for my major, I should take Physics 7A in the fall, Physics 7B in the winter, and Physics 7D in the spring. Physics 7A covers units, vectors, motion, momentum, and force. Physics 7B covers energy, rotation, and gravity. Physics 7D covers electricity and magnetism. It seems like PHY130 and PHY132 at CSUDH covered all these topics. But the sample program had no other physics courses in it. I’ll call that counselor person later today to ask her opinion. For anyone’s reference, I signed up for courses 14150, 14151, 44304, and 44305.
Played Doom 3 a bit more today. Good stuff.
Almost filled out a form for UCI. Almost. Need to figure out a third reference. Besides the health stuff (vaccinations and what not), this is the last form I need to do. And it was probably due already.
I’m going to Christine’s today and then to Alex’s mini-LAN party. San Diego trip is planned for Thursday but might be Wednesday. I might have to hurry home from Alex’s to shower, etc.
Bowling Pictures
I posted some pictures from our latest bowling trip here.

Random Stuff
On Saturday, my dad picked up Linh-Nam and took us to Carberry’s house. I sent Carberry all of my music, and Linh-Nam installed Doom 3. I played Doom 1 while Nam played Doom 3. I couldn’t play it while transferring all those files, lol. Linh-Nam’s laptop… it doesn’t render the light correctly. The static lights work fine, including those that flicker. The “solid” light at the tip of the flashlight works. By solid lights, I mean the light that appears as solid white. But the light that actually comes out of the flashlight doesn’t work. In other words, nothing gets illuminated. I know my terminology isn’t very good. Go IM Chris if you need the correct terms, because I’m sure he knows them. Anyways, I think this’ll make playing D3 very difficult for Linh-Nam.
On the way home from Carberry’s, my dad and I were driving in the slow lane of the freeway. Someone to the right of us on the shoulder was driving. But he was driving in the wrong direction. It was interesting. There was a bike behind us, too. That must be a little scary. I looked back and the car drove past him going the wrong way, and they were pretty close.
Yesterday, Sunday, I woke up at 12:30 because my mom came to get James. I said “hi” and whatnot and then went back to my room. I played a game or two of UT2004 and watched Chobits. Man… I finished it… good series. Very good. I’ll write a review sometime. Not now. I went back to sleep around 3 or 4 and woke up at 7:30 or so. Around 9:30, my dad and I went out for dinner. We went downtown but ended up just eating at a Hoff’s Hut. Very large dinner. Very tasty. I noticed right away that our waitress was very cute. Later, my dad said that she was kind of cute. That kind of surprised me. Everybody that knows me knows that I like filipina girls, but he normally only likes tall, large breasted, white chicks. Anyways, we got back around midnight. Okay, I guess that’s all.
Orientation
I got a good hour and a half of sleep before orientation. Jaysen picked me up and we listened to Frou Frou on the way to UCI. Breakfast sucked. Just lots of breads. We then went to a large room where we were barely able to hear a couple speakers. They did give an overview of enrolling, which I think was helpful. Then, we broke up into small discussion groups. We hardly discussed anything at all, but we did play some fun games. The staff was interesting. There was a cute chick with glasses that was cool, a weird guy, a skater guy, the girl who has tried girl-on-girl, lol. The games were lame but fun I guess. I just think it wasn’t that needed. After that, it was lunch time. Lunch was tasty. I got my ID card. I made sure not to smile. I don’t look good happy. I never look good, but smiling just makes me worse. While waiting for lunch time to end, I played Doom 3.
We broke into our fields of study after lunch. There was sort of a… dance off… between the leader-people of each major. Engineering so won, lol. It was funny to see. This was the most helpful part of the day especially since I got some placement test questions answered. It also seemed that the rules for the school of engineering are different than the rules given earlier. I don’t know if every school is like that or not. Some parts were kind of dumb though. “If you try hard, you will succeed. You will all succeed. But only 54% of those going into engineering will graduate. But don’t worry, you’ll do it. But half will fail. But you won’t fail don’t worry.” I don’t know what they were trying to do. By the way, the counselor was hot.
The housing tour wasn’t all that great either. I’ve seen the dorms on my own before. The racial make-up of UCI will take getting used to. It’s almost entirely whites and asians. And there were hot girls everywhere. I couldn’t point them all out to Jaysen, lol. But everything looks better in that area. The campus and surroundings is very pretty in my opinion. ^_^ With orientation out of the way, we drove around Irvine listening to No Doubt. I fell asleep on the drive back to LA county. It was amazing. I fall asleep surrounded by beauty and wake up surrounded by ugliness. Anyways, then we went and got Joseph.
The three of us ate dinner at Taco Bell and then just drove around a bit. We played Yaz – Situation (the song with the words “move out” from that classic NES GBA commercial) at max volume, throwing our heads around and banging on the car. It’s fun to be stupid in front of people. We wanted to watch Gay Niggers From Outer Space but wanted to go somewhere. We called Alex, but he’s never around (like I always say) so we went to Christine’s. I’m glad I got to see her. I’m really gonna miss her. At her house, I played Doom 3, made fun of other countries during the Olympics, and laughed a lot. Christine gave me a picture she drew and an autographed pad o.O. Once it was about 11, it was time to get going.
We played Situation again very loudly when pulling up to a red light. There was a woman in a car in the next lane but farther up trying to make a call. I slowly turned the music up. Joseph started thumping the side of the car. Jaysen started pulling the car further up. The woman looked at us and drove further up. We did too. Good times. Joseph pointed out that Jaysen’s car needs hydraulics for this kind of shit. What we need is to get a bunch of the same car, all blaring the same strange techno-ish 80s music, all with hydraulics. Yes. We so need that.
