Propaganda Removal Along Korean DMZ

Loudspeakers, billboards, and other propaganda are being removed from the Korean DMZ by both sides. This action was decided upon recently at military talks to lower tension between the two Koreas. They plan to remove all the propaganda devices by August 15 of this year.
I still wouldn’t want to live in the ROK, lol, but it’s still another small step in the right direction.

Aishiteru ze Baby 10 -SPOILERS-

What the hell?
First, Kippei kisses Kokoro, which I like. But then he starts feeling her up. I think it’s a little soon for that, especially at school. Then, when asked if she loves Kippei, Kokoro responds, “not at all.” What kind of answer is that? Maybe it’s not love, but she doesn’t have to be so blunt about it. With being late to pick Yuzuyu and sleeping in, forgetting to make her lunch, Yuzuyu realizes that she’s in Kippei’s way and that Kippei wants to be with Kokoro, so she decides to walk home on her own. Poor Kippei’s just hurt and confused by Kokoro and trying to fix things with Yuzuyu.
And Matthew, of Matthew’s Anime Blog, was right in his entry last week about Marika-chan being jealous. God was she jealous, and she’s only five!
I still really like this show. I hope Kippei fixes thing with Yuzuyu-chan soon though. The drama of the Kokoro sub-plot is good and adds to the show, but there’s still a part of me that just wants Kippei to be happy with her ^^;

Possible Creation of a Black Hole

A star, SN 1986J, which is 30 million lightyears away, went supernova in 1983. When it runs out of fuel, the core collapses into a neutron star, and the outer shells of the star explode outward. If the core has a mass less than 1.4 times the mass of our star, it remains stable as a neutron star. If the core has a mass greater than 1.4 times the mass of our star, it will continue to collapse, creating a blackhole. At least, this is what happens in theory. Scientists are surprised that they are able to see what’s going on through the expanding outer layers. The fact that they can suggests that there is a crack in that shell. They’re not exactly sure what’s going on. And they don’t know if it’s going to be a black hole, a neutron star, or possibly something else. It would be the first time we’ve witnessed either, and it’s pretty cool, no?

Getting Together

Herbert wanted to do something Monday (today) for his birthday, but I already had tentative plans with Gonzales for that day. He considered doing it this weekend instead. Plans fell through with Gonzales, but my mom wants me to go out for the weekend. They’re having a bonfire. Linh-Nam asked me to go to Knott’s this weekend. I’ve talked to Jaysen and Roda about getting together Tuesday.
I’m going to my mom’s this weekend, but I’ll try to do something Friday night, too. Linh-Nam, I can’t go. Jaysen and Roda, are we gonna do something? And Alex, let me know if anything’s up with Barnes.

Happy birthday Commander! Enjoy your final summer before college. We better hang out a lot! And congratulations you two on getting back together! (Flashing would have been lame XD)

boring

I had a dream that I was at CAMS. At one point, I was physically fighting with Medina. Then, some girl was yelling at me. I yelled back something like “you wouldn’t want to hurt my chance at getting admitted to college, would you.” She tried to grab me, but I floated away. I could sort of fly but not very well. It was more floating, and while I could reach the roof of buildings (small buildings anyways), I still struggled to do so.

David’s Graduation Party

There isn’t a lot to say about David’s graduation party. It was much smaller than his prom afterparty but still a lot of fun. I fooled around with the white guys in our usual style (computers). After the rest of the whites left, I spent the evening with the World Nation group, Herbert, Hanah (when the Supreme Commander and Commandress weren’t reading), and David. I also went for a walk and talked with Herbert. In the morning, I was promoted to major.
Also, I like how much David groups people. It’s kind of funny. I guess I’m a part of the white guys, the World Nation, and Motherly (the social group, not the band of course). His idea of the Motherly social group is very wide. Someone remind me to ask him where he places Linh-Nam, Christine, Antonio, William, Gemma, Jasmine, Roda, Nick… is there a loser group?
