I went to Miranda Estacio’s funeral today. She was truly loved. Cheryl had real strength to do all she’s done and gave a loving eulogy. I really don’t like how people have talked about it though. Some teachers told without realizing what they were doing, but I really disagree with Fisher’s choice of action.

The Punisher

Very cool movie. You gotta remember that it’s a comic-book-based movie, not just an action movie. For that reason, someone can murder like thirty other people without the police getting involved at all. But the Punisher really punished those “bad guys.” The bad guys were only punishing him for getting a member of their family killed. He looked cool, acted cool… what more could you want?

So tired

God I got so little sleep last night. Damn… uh… this. Calc II was difficult to sit through. During Calc I I worked on homework for other classes. I wasn’t expecting an essay in English, but I think I did well. Government was IDP time. William said he e-mailed some TV stations and the such but hasn’t received any responses. God we have so fucking little. Well, my sub-group has nothing. I fuckin’ hate IDP. Rather than go to physics, I went to lunch with Gian, Jaysen, Russell, Kamal, and Joseph. We ran out when Baker came in. After watching Spirit Rally, I hung out with Alex Hurst, Shaun, Antonio, Alex Godinez, Kim, and Jorge. After school actually got out, I hung out with Alex, Kim, and Jorge. We also talked to Fisher about the administration and what not. I like Fisher. And then I went to hang out with Linh-Nam’s robotics gang: Thao, Lisa, Roberto, Jeremy, Brody, and Naomi. Funny bunch. Yay. And Thao pointed out that Naomi backwards is “I moan.” lol. I saw “The Punisher” with Linh-Nam and Thao. It was a fun evening. They’re a cute couple <3 <3 I don't know what time I'm suppose to go to Christine's tomorrow. uh ohz.

Spirit Rally

Spirit Rally was great this year for the most part. ’07 started with a dance to the Austin Powers song. The song is overused, but I assume that ’07 doesn’t know that. They also did a DDR dance, a Matrix dance/fight, and assorted cultural dances. The Matrix part was pretty amusing. There was a Neo v. Smiths scene, as well as a flying fight scene. And by flying, I do mean getting held up.
My favorite class was ’06. They had a skit about the Panthers with Jared as the panther from 40 minutes in the future. They talked about war, battled with TIs, and played Smelly Cat. Phantasma also played “Rock and Roll All Night.” The vocals didn’t seem to go to the song well but the other parts were great.
’05 did a skit and dances in a western theme. And ’04 did a “let’s just assume we’re going to lose and we’ll tell you why we’re all winners anyways.” They did say something about overcoming diversity.
