I just reviewed Hollywood Hospital for the iPhone. I received my free review copy from Zed Worldwide. It’s easily the most challenging time-management game I’ve played, featuring minigames and requiring actual strategy. I enjoyed it.

I just posted an article on The Gnomon Gallery’s exhibit, The Art of God of War III. I attended on Saturday, and it was a lot of fun. It was a bit far to go, but it was a lot cooler seeing the artwork in person than in images on a computer.

Pac-Man’s 30th Anniversary
Today’s Pac-Man’s 30th anniversary! Google usually places unique images of its logo on its front page for special occassions. In place of that, they’ve made an interactive Pac-Man game in the shape of its logo. It’s pretty cool! Check it out at google.com. I also wrote a blog post about this on Game-Boyz here.

My review of Pocket Devil – Hell Yeah! is up on Game-Boyz.com. In Pocket Devil, you’re given a bunch of ways to kill small devils called mugat2. It’s not really a game. It’s a sandbox, only the sandbox is filled with things you can kill. I didn’t really like most of it, but there’s a balloon minigame that I really enjoyed. Also, the music was awesome! It’s made by Eyedip, and I received my review copy for free.

My latest review is up on Game-Boyz.com for Hand of Greed – Dodge the Blade. The game is pretty simple. There are a bunch of spinning blades on the screen that you have to avoid while collecting treasures. It’s really enjoyable, and I still cringe and pull away when a knife “cuts” my finger. It’s also the first game published by Appular, which is a PR firm I’ve talked with repeatedly, so that’s kind of cool! My review copy, as usual, was provided to me for free.
