Most people I know enter UCB as freshman, regardless of units because the school likes it when you take the “Berkeley version” of a course…part of the indoctrination I guess. (Ex: today’s history discussion about the brutality of European explorers against the Indians would’ve made Maruna’s head explode, as would’ve the GSI saying “the Ind- I’m sorry, NATIVE AMERICANS ::nervous laugh:: I just keep calling them that because the documents do ::another nervous midwesterner-in-hippie-california laugh::) Or maybe they just know that CSUDH or ElCo or LBCC are worth close to crap in most cases.

I find it funny how she referred to the school as UCB when it’s generally referred to as California/Cal.
That probably explains why she’s entering as a freshman.
