G4
I was watching G4 today with Antonio. They had a list of the top ten PC games with World of Warcraft listed at number two. Toni goes “what, Guild Wars? No, World of Warcraft! Hah!” Then the list says “1. Guild Wars”! Yay! *dances on Toni’s face*
Guild Wars
It’s like WoW but was slightly worse gameplay. I like the story more though. Free though. Go play it!
Disneyland
I went to Disneyland for Christine’s birthday a couple weeks ago! It was tons of fun. I went with Christine, Xavier, Christine Kang, Chris Martinez, and Linh-Nam. Things kept breaking down. One ride stopped while we were on it, but we got free fastpasses for later. StarTours was awesome as usual. And tea cups! Man, the tea cups were great. I’ll put photos up eventually. Chris and I shot bad guys on the Buzz Lightyear ride. And Chris was a pussy and didn’t want to eat his turkey leg! Yay!
Fixed
WebPageless is fixed. I was stupid. Er.
Yay.
Midterms
Two midterms down, but one still to go. I got a 22/25 on my CSE31 (intro to digital systems) midterm, with an average of 17.5, and a 65/70 on my Math 6A (discrete math) midterm, with an average of 48.3 and a high of 66. Now I just gotta worry about the psych test.
Movable Type is currently down.
WebPageless used to be hosted on Chopsticks, but it went down for an unknown reason. I brought Chopsticks here to UCI to try to fix it, but it’s networking ability seems gone. I don’t want to reformat it until I’m confident that WebPageless can come back up easily, yet I can’t get WebPageless working on Mantop either. It’s obviously online (when Mantop is online), but I can’t access the MT database at all. I tried upgrading Chopsticks to SP2 but it kept failing and then the key I had didn’t work. Mind you it’s really slow (takes about an hour or so to get to the part of the installation that says it’s a bad key) and the monitor doesn’t work. I have to borrow someone else’s monitor everytime I work on it because I don’t own one. You can see why it’s a slow task. Now, why MT is dead on Mantop, I don’t know. I couldn’t log in to it so I used MT-medic (something like that). It found that there were no blogs and no authors although I thought I moved everything over. *shrugs*. I’ll be using DA for now if I need to blog something.
Review of Ataxia Canto II: Freshman
Here Joseph tells of how he met Her. He says that met Her during IDP. He partnered with Murat and they worked with Brannon and Her. They worked together at school for weeks, and before IDP was due, they met at Her house to complete the project. He says that he didn’t talk to Murat much, but enjoyed talking politics and other issues with Brannon and Her. After the project finished, they continued to talk politics occasionally but not very often. He says they were more associates than friends.
This chapter is obiviously important because it shows how Joseph met Her. Other than that, it isn’t very important. Nothing out of the ordinary happened during this part of his life. It does, however, set the stage for the next year of his life.
