Yesterday consisted of worrying about crazy Herbert and chatting on AIM. Chris M.’s brother was busy today so I didn’t do anything with Chris. Gian came over this afternoon, and we talked for a while. After he left, I played Vice City for much of the day. My mom dropped James off, and she and I talked in her car for a while. Dad bought KFC for dinner, which was tasty. And now there are WN members on so I will go chat.

Ahahaha I’m very happy.
I spent a while this morning working on a new site. Joseph wanted to be able to post on WebPageless so I sort of made him his own blog. He didn’t ask for one but… yeah. It’s here. Joseph, if you’re reading this, you can post messages basically the same way I explained to you earlier. Use the same address as well. Anyways, since I was spending so much time in MT, I decided to work on my no entry_id error when commenting.
I looked through some google results and found that it had to do with the CGI location in the mt.cfg file. I had a webpageless.net address in there, but it seems that mt-comments.cgi doesn’t like redirection. I changed it webpageless.cjb.net and things got better. Sure, webpageless.cjb.net instead of www.webpageless.net appears at the bottom of the screen while the comment is being processed, but that’s not such a big deal. But after adding a comment, the page didn’t rebuild correctly.
It was rebuilding using my “Total” template, which is the one that I reference using SSI on the archive page. It’s simply a list of categories, with links to each category page. The entry would update to that. I fooled around with it for a long time, and it seems to be working now.
I think it’s because I got to see Garden State.
Alright, it’s time for bed.
Garden State
Garden State was a brilliant film. Zach Braff, J.D. from Scrubs, is writer, director, and star of the film. Zach Braff plays Andrew Largeman, a man who returns home after nine years for his mother’s funeral. Largeman has been on very powerful antidepressants since a young age and for the first time, has stopped taking them. With the medications, he was numb to most emotions. Now, for the first time in his adult life, he’s living life as himself. The film is of him finding himself and finding his love.
Parts of the movie were kind of sappy, but I like these types of romances. The script was very good, there were many great scenes, and the camera angle choices were superb. The music chosen was excellent, and I’ve been listening to the soundtrack for a few days now.
Zach Braff did very well with as writing and directing debut, and I look forward to seeing more of his work.
Garden State
Herbert picked me and Joseph up, and we went to the Rolling Hills AMC. After buying our tickets, we sat by the coffee shop for a minutes. We enjoyed the movie. Afterwards, Herbert, being his usual irrational self, decided we needed to visit Hanah. Then, he freaked out because the back right window would no longer go up. Joseph was sitting there, but it wasn’t his fault at all. Herbert wasn’t so sure of this. He also must think Joe is very incompetent. Hanah wasn’t home. Herbert later found out that she was at a religious service. We then went to Taco Bell after lots of weird shit due to Herbert’s mom.

Herbert and Hanah really have communication problems. I know that Herbert finds out about a lot of stuff about Hanah indirectly when he should be finding out from her. But he doesn’t seem to be contacting her enough himself. They need to work on this rather quickly.
Christine’s, Bowling, Junk
Yesterday, Chris picked me up, and we went to Christine’s house. Grant was already there. We hung out for a while. It was fun seeing Grant again, and I’m glad I got to see Christine one last time before she left. Saying good bye was difficult. Despite me being me, she gave me a hug.
We were 40 minutes late to go bowling, but Jaysen was the only one there. Joseph showed up soon after. Herbert didn’t go bowling because he slept through it. The scores were as follows:
| Name | Entered Name | Score 1 | Score 2 | Score 3 |
| Joseph | CDR | 66 | 62 | 116 |
| Peter | MAJ | 63 | 86 | 40 |
| Jaysen | S SRG | 62 | 54 | 94 |
| Chris | SRG | 28 | 91 | 59 |
Terrible game for me.
Then, we went out to eat. I had two tacos like usual. Very tasty. Herbert joined us. Afterwards, we went to CAMS, Baskin Robbins, and to a liquor store. We needed to find somewhere to hang out so we went to Joseph’s house and hung out in the parking lot until we were done. Herbert and Jaysen went home, and Chris and I joined Joseph in his room. I had a lot of fun. I need to go to Joseph’s more often. Not that I’m inviting myself or anything… he needs to invite me. Hint. Hint. At a little past midnight, Chris took me home.
Astro Bunny International
I found a site called Astro Bunny International that contains, for the most part, art created by two people.
I swear they’re fucking retards or something.
Some of it’s a little amusing. Look at it to make fun of it at least.
And look at the picture of Kirby here.
Christine’s and Alex’s
I went to Christine’s house yesterday. Fun stuff. Linh-Nam and Cheryl were also there. Christine got sick as usual. I played Doom 3. I burned it for Christine, and Linh-Nam installed it for her. I had to talk to Denise Earley, my counselor, about classes, but I got it all taken care of. I do not like Christine moving away. That’s probably the last time I’ll see her for a while 🙁
Cheryl drove me home in her new Matrix. It’s nice ^^ She could tell which house was mine by the roof. My dad drove me to Alex’s house, where Linh-Nam was already. It was fun. We watched Kill Bill, played Doom 3, ate food. Linh-Nam and I played Unreal Tournament 2004. I beat him both rounds ^_^. Nam left around 12:30. Later, Alex and I watched Donnie Darko and the deleted scenes. He hadn’t seen it before. I hadn’t seen it enough o_O.
And I still can’t find Garden State to download. Makes Peter sad.
blah
Registered for some classes today. CSE21 wasn’t a hard decision. It sounds like stuff I’ve covered but not in an AP or college class. Still, I’ve hardly covered it. I signed up for Mathematics 2D, multivariable calculus. This was slightly harder to figure out, because I had to check what math classes the calculus at CAMS covered. As for physics… well, according to the sample program of study for my major, I should take Physics 7A in the fall, Physics 7B in the winter, and Physics 7D in the spring. Physics 7A covers units, vectors, motion, momentum, and force. Physics 7B covers energy, rotation, and gravity. Physics 7D covers electricity and magnetism. It seems like PHY130 and PHY132 at CSUDH covered all these topics. But the sample program had no other physics courses in it. I’ll call that counselor person later today to ask her opinion. For anyone’s reference, I signed up for courses 14150, 14151, 44304, and 44305.
Played Doom 3 a bit more today. Good stuff.
Almost filled out a form for UCI. Almost. Need to figure out a third reference. Besides the health stuff (vaccinations and what not), this is the last form I need to do. And it was probably due already.
I’m going to Christine’s today and then to Alex’s mini-LAN party. San Diego trip is planned for Thursday but might be Wednesday. I might have to hurry home from Alex’s to shower, etc.
Bowling Pictures
I posted some pictures from our latest bowling trip here.
