Inspector Gadget’s MAD Dash for iOS

Inspector Gadget’s MAD Dash for iOS | iPhone/iPod, Reviews, Platformer

Inspector Gadget’s MAD Dash (get it? MAD?), by XMG Studio, has made its way to the iPhone! …[It] is a well made game that both fans and newcomers will enjoy. Fans of the cartoon will especially enjoy reliving it through the colorful art and fun music and sound. It’s simple to play, which makes it easy to pick up quickly. You can enjoy it in a few short minutes or play it longer if you have the time. It’s perfect for when you have a few free minutes and you want something to do that can be accomplished in that time but is still fun!

Dead Rising Mobile for iOS

Dead Rising Mobile for iOS | iPhone/iPod, Reviews, 3rd Person: Action

Dead Rising Mobile is a fun snippet of the experience of Dead Rising. Unfortunately, it’s not the same masterpiece as its console brethren. It’s definitely more of an arcade game that asks, ‘how long can you last while killing zombies and doing quests to gain power’ rather than asking you to explore and solve the mystery of what’s happening. While I was hoping for a bit more, I enjoyed playing it!

MCAT Physics Connect for iOS

MCAT Physics Connect for iOS | iPhone/iPod, Reviews, Educational

MCAT Physics Connect by Watermelon Express is a new test preparation application for the iOS. Now I know test prep isn’t something we usually cover, but hear me out because it’s fun and could be useful! It teaches you physics, provides sample questions, and shows you where you need to improve. Most importantly (for us), it’s fun at the same time.

The Brothers Mario – GTA IV Machinima

Watch as the Mario brothers fight against Bowser and his gang in this Grand Theft Auto IV machinima. It’s filled with lots of little references and is really well made. It really makes me want to play Grand Theft Auto IV again. Too bad I still can’t afford The Ballad of Gay Tony. On a side note, it’s sad that while it got positive reviews, it didn’t seem to sell well. While I didn’t do anything near a proper survey, a lot of people to whom I spoke responded negatively to the name. People are stupid.

Cataclysm U.S. Launch Party

Cataclysm U.S. Launch Party | Blog | Game Boyz

One-hundred thirty-three days. That’s how long I’ve spent actually logged in to my main character in the World of Warcraft. Four hours. That’s how long I had to wait for the release of the newest expansion, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm after getting off work last night. I was definitely excited. Many of the game changes had already occurred in the last patch. I knew I probably wouldn’t see any new content that night because I’d likely go to sleep after purchasing it. But I couldn’t help it. As a World of Warcraft player, the excitement was there in me. It should have been a holiday.

I wrote a piece about the Cataclysm launch over at Gameboyz!
