+) File is read in successfully!
+) Good you did error checking when user wants to add a voter with the same
SSN as one existing voter. It is the same with polling places.
+) Very well done! Program is correct and robust. I wasn’t able to crash
it or get it to misbehave.
Style: 10
-) It would be better if you print out the voters or polling places in a
nice format.Use the String.format()
+) Very nice user interface! But you can still improve it by giving user
information regarding whether or not his/her operation is successful.
Furthermore, if the list is empty, print something to tell the user about it
if he/she would like to list the voters or polling places.
+) Well structured. Good you broke the go() of VoteUI into several pieces

+) Good you have all fields private
+) Good naming for methods/variables
*) A minor thing: I don’t think it is necessary to create a MenuExecution
class since the VoteUI is enough for dealing with command execution.
Furthermore, all the variables related to the operations are all stored in
the VoteUI, it is not necessary to pass all of them as parameters to the
MenuExecution.

Project 3

I think I finished project 3. I’ve never finished early before. Still need to add comments and such though. Maybe do some more testing just to make sure. Yay.
Now I gotta do math hw, reading and a critique by Thursday. And study for Friday’s midterm.

HW, Bondfire

I’m pretty talkative. And apparently, the amount I talk is proportional to my BAC.
I went to math lecture today. Gotta go to everything because the midterm is on Friday. CSE midterm is next Tuesday. I don’t have homework due until Thursday, but I have reading, a critique, and math hw due Thursday, a midterm on Friday, and a CSE project due Friday. The project’s due at 11:59 PM on Friday, but I want to have everything done so I can go see LNP.
Bondfire was tonight. Only about 11 people went. I had fun though. Lots of climbing on people and generally gay behaviour. And I ate a smore. Mmm, smore. When we were leaving, I opened my car window, looked at all the expensive homes, and yelled “Veronica Corningstone and I had sex and now we are in love!” Then we drove away rather quickly.
Okay, I’m off to do hw.

CSE 22 Project 2

Project 2 was pretty fun, but come Monday night, I was stumped. It turns out I was creating new iterators rather than passing around the same one. Then I realized that my linked lists were referenced in two classes, but they weren’t the same linked lists. I fixed everything and finished my commenting at 11:56. Had the whole thing uploaded by 11:57. Two minutes to spare. PollingPlacesReader.java didn’t work though. Oh well… maybe I’ll do better next time.

CSE22 Project 1

Correctness: 9/10
-) You did not deal with negative wages.
-) Your “Please enter employee’s name:” appears twice when I would like to remove an employee.
+) Other parts are well done!

Classes and Junk

CSE 22 was pretty fun today. Thornton seems like a really cool guy. He’ll make a good teacher, and he likes what he does. He said he wasn’t happy programming so came to teach even though it paid less because he enjoyed it. At one point, he tried to say that he was taking off his shoes and would have to walk on the ends of his pants but accidently said that he was taking off his pants. Then he apologized a lot. Funny. And there’s wifi in the room. Very good.
My fictional writing teacher was interesting. She thinks that the ability to tell a story is the greatest thing man has achieved. I… uh… don’t think so. But I guess she should like what she does, right? She hung a scarf over an overhead projector and asked us to freewrite on it for 10-15 minutes. God, what have I got myself into?
Went to the ARC with Gemma and Jon today. I had a good time. You should see that guy go at the punching bag. Damn. A lot of anger in that dude, lol. Gemma and I rolled across the ground for a while, which was really fully. Yeah, you had to have been there. And ping pong! Lots of ping pong! I’m a fan of that.
And tonight, when I was walked Gem back to her dorm, we saw a raccoon! And it was cute! Yeah, but then we lost it. It ran away I guess; we were confused. Okay, bye.

Winter quarter

I went to Gem’s physics class super early today. I only had one class of my own today… Math 2J… linear algebra and infinite series. Yeah… it was a 3:00 class (or 2:00 or something… whatever it wasn’t early) yet I still slept through it. Yay for me.

End of Quarter

I got a 38 on the ICS final, which gave me an A in the class. I don’t know how I did in writing yet, but I’m assuming a B. The math final was really damn hard. I could get a D, I could get a B. With the curve, I should pass the class. There were a couple problems that I didn’t know how to do at all.

A little update

It’s been a while since I’ve updated so here I am.
I got kind of behind in school, but I’m catching up. I’m still a few weeks behind in math reading… but I’m passing the quizzes, and I understood the last lecture. I guess I’m fine then. I failed lab exam 4 but passed 5, and today I retook 4. I failed the first retake but took it again right after in hopes of getting different methods. I did, and I did well.
Right now, I’m talking to Russell on AIM about how I touch myself in the bathroom and think of him.
Anyways.
I spent hundreds of dollars on food last month. Very tasty shit though. Watching Chappelle’s Show right now with Jay. I bought a Tamagotchi. Good times. Last weekend, the match maker (gives you a mate if you haven’t mated via IR) kept visiting Gemma’s and my tamagotchis. We tried waiting until Sunday but hers died. I bought World of Warcraft. It’s a really amazing game. It’s really easy to learn and isn’t that system intensive. I’m only like level 10 though… I have more important things to do.
Last Wednesday, my mom picked me up and took me to my dad’s house. Smells very moldy. I don’t know what the hell’s gonna happen over break… how do I go out? lol. I worked on homework that night and most of Thursday. Jamie’s (not by brother) mom bought an Albertson’s premade Thanksgiving dinner that was pretty good. Afterwards, I went to Christine’s house, and Linh-Nam and I spent the night. He played WoW, and I worked on CSE hw. She had a giant togepi stuffed animal. I woke her up by making it hump her, and then I made it hump Nam. Good times. On Friday, the three of us drove up to Vince’s place. We went to Burger King and then went to Chris’s to play Texas Holdem. I was up for a while but… lost horribly, lol. Friday night, I went home and spent the rest of the weekend doing a shit load of homework and talking to Gemma a lot. One night, we fell asleep on the phone together. I woke up and continued doing stuff. When I was about to goto sleep, she called back, and we talked more. After I went to bed, right when I woke up she called again. What great timing ^_^.
Over the weekend, I managed to get labs 3, 4, and 5 done. Rough drafts of our essay were due on Monday, but I didn’t have it. I hadn’t even started it yet. Michelle said I could e-mail it to her by Tuesday afternoon. I emailed her like 4 pages at 8:00. Then I had another page done by today. I’m still not done with it, heh.
On Monday night, I went to a massage class with Gemma. They taught relaxation/breathing techniques for a little bit and then they went into how to give massages. It was pretty cool. We were the last to leave so we got the left over snacks. ^_^ Didn’t get much sleep Monday night. I decided to sleep through CSE lecture to try to get more. Didn’t get a lot of sleep last night either. I miss sleep. Last night was kind of fun though… I spent the majority of it in the common room with Gemma, Jon, and Gabby. Jon just sort of fooled around… Gabby was reading… and Gemma and I were studying.
Today I have no homework, but I’m gonna have a lot tomorrow. I should get an early start, but I’m not. I stopped by Roda’s and Judy’s tonight. I like lounging around over there. Roda and Judy are good people =P Okay, ta ta for now.
